Federal Mississippi census records are available to the public for census years: 1820, 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930.
1890 MS Census Schedules were completely destroyed by fire in 1921, however, the Veterans and Widows Census did survive and is often used as an aid for searching in that census year.
